Second, you should eat vitamin D-rich foods such as fatty fish, herring, mackerel, and wild salmon. Another strategy is to take vitamin D supplements, with the recommended amount depending on your blood level. Finally, even if it’s not typical ice cream weather, spending time outdoors during the early fall can help boost your vitamin D levels.
